The attorneys at Barton Mendez Soto understand the complexities of this fast-changing field of practice, which is why we proudly provide comprehensive, goal-oriented solutions to political parties, political action committees, ballot measure committees, and non-profit organizations engaged in promoting civic engagement.

From advising political parties on operational policies to guiding takedown letters, our firm is a trusted resource for clients who aspire to use political and democratic methods to advance progressive policies and ideals.

Our seasoned attorneys also have practical litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in campaign finance complaints, candidate petition challenges, ballot access challenges for initiatives, and related election law cases. Our firm both defended Arizona’s Minimum Wage Act from a challenge to its constitutionality after voters passed the measure AND won a court ruling that the Legislature’s attempt to undermine the Act was itself unconstitutional.
